One of the world's largest craft brewers, the Boston Beer Company offers fantastic tours of The Samuel Adams Brewery. Visitors can view a video about Boston's beer-brewing history, learn about Sam Adams founder Jim Koch, watch the beer get brewed and, at the end of the tour, sample a variety of brews in the tasting room. The brewery is in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood, just blocks north of the expansive Franklin Park and its lovely Franklin Park Zoo.
Open Mon. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.; Fri. until 5:30 p.m. Tours run every 45 minutes.
